I just installed my nintendo switch pro controller to my pc and set it up with big picture mode which supports NMS (alledgedly) but all my buttons in game have a large yellow triangle with a ! in the middle instead of the button that should be mapped to it (Y,X,B,A,etc buttons). The controller otherwise works great in game and controls are good, I just cant figure out how to fix the graphic No Man's Sky > Bug Reporting > Topic Details. lolCindered Sep 7, 2021 @ 8:14pm. Can't build using a controller. Most functions show a yellow warning symbol next to them, and the few functions that show buttons don't work at all. I tried resetting my controller layout, but there's no default listed in the steam controller config. Then I use Joystick Gremlin to take that Virtual Devices inputs from TARGET, and simulate once again but for exclusively the Y-Axis, and Rudder Z-Rotation, simulating mouse motion. From there VJoy (needed for Joystick Gremlin) broadcasts the final combination device to NMS directly. allowing almost full functionality of a HOTAS in No Man's Sky. Here the commands I have figured out so far. Any addition / correction is welcome :=) [UPDATED: 25.08.2017] Galaxy Map: Keyboard commands (Atlas Rises update) ----- LM button..select system and close-in orbital view with infos RM button..free explore mode Q/E..switch waypoint modes Discovery menu..select system as waypoint with LM button Follow the pathes (lines) with your mouse to mouse and keyboard VR would just be weird imo. Kinda defeats the purpose of being able to actually aim by holding out your hands and takes you of the experience. I would encourage devs not to entertain this weird suggestion. Just stick to optimizing full VR experience with controllers. #2. Nominally my bindings would look something like: A/D for fine Yaw adjustment. W/S for fine Pitch adjustment. Q/E for roll. i'd set my throttle in increments with the third mouse wheel and have the chance to set it by percentage according to the 1-0 keys at the top of the keyboard. And then my mouse would be y axis for pitch and x axis for yaw As it says on the tin; new update seems to have included support for the PS5 adaptive triggers when used with PC (at least for Steam) out of the box. So far I’ve noticed feedback in the following scenarios: Mining laser when close to overheating, trigger gets tougher to pull. Firing the multi tool shakes the trigger with each projectile shot 1) A Steam Controller 2) A Microsoft X-bone controller whilst also on Windows 10. Windows 7 used to require a separate controller driver download from M$ to even use 360 controllers; now with Windows 10, X-bone controllers are all plug and play. Note: PS controllers are a PITA is Windows7 to set-up. 4gvyDx.
